Terms and Conditions for App Subscriptions through https://mywcdb.co.uk

By taking out a subscription to My Window Cleaning Database app (referred in these Terms as the “App”) on https://mywcdb.co.uk including a free trial you are agreeing to be bound by these terms.

The App is owned and operated by Martin Barthmann (172 Hughenden Road, Hastings, TN34 3TA, United Kingdom).

The owner reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice or explanation, if he believes you are violating the Terms in any way.


1. These Terms apply to all Subscriptions taken out through this website or any other resources used by the owner.

2. You must be at least 18 years old to take a Subscription.

3. The owner will try to process your Subscription promptly, but will not guarantee that your Subscription will be activated by any specified time. By submitting your payment and other subscription details, you are making an offer to the Owner to buy a Subscription. Your offer will only be accepted and a contract formed when the Owner has successfully verified your details, at which point you will be provided with access to your Subscription. The Owner reserves the right to reject any offer at his sole discretion, for any or no reason.

Prices and Payment

(a) If you are a new customer you may receive a ‘free trial’ as part of your Subscription. When the free trial period finishes, you can continue using the service with the paid Subscription. The Subscription fee is £5 per calendar month. The Subscription will remain active as long as you pay for it. If you wish to discontinue using the App, you may stop renewing the Subscription (i.e. stop paying for it), in which case it will be terminated automatically.

(b) The Owner may modify the price of any Subscription, remove and/or offer certain other subscription services from time to time. You will always be informed in advance of any increase in the price of your Subscription. If you do not wish to continue the Subscription at a new price, you may terminate the contract by simply stopping to pay for Subscription to the App.

(c) In addition to the Subscription fees due to the Owner, you are responsible for paying any internet connection or other telecommunications charges that you may incur by accessing the App or using the services available on it. For example, your mobile network operator may charge you for data or roaming services.

(d) If the Owner discovers an error in the prices listed on the Site, you will be informed about it and given the option of continuing to purchase the Subscription at the correct price or cancelling your order. If the Owner is unable to contact you using the contact details you provided, the order will be treated as cancelled.

Renewals and Cancellations

(a) The Subscription to the App will remain active for as long as you pay for it. You are responsible for timely payments of Subscription fees in order to be able to access and use the App. If the payment for the next calendar month isn’t received on time, you will not have the access to the App until such payment arrives. I strongly recommend setting up a PayPal Automatic Payment or a standing order on your bank account in order to avoid any interruptions in using the App.

(b) If you stop renewing your Subscription (making payments), the data you have entered into your personal database will be kept on the servers for the period of 3 calendar months, during which you may request a backup copy of your input data for use in other applications such as Excel spreadsheets or similar. If you do not renew your Subscription to the App within the aforementioned period of time, all the data you have input will be erased permanently. You can always request an immediate deletion of all your input data.

(c) You agree that your Subscription will begin as soon as the email confirming your Subscription is sent to you. You will not have the right to cancel the Subscription within the active Subscription period, save for any ‘free trial’ you might be entitled to (see above).

How to cancel

To cancel your Subscription, all you need to do is to stop the monthly payments. The Subscription will end automatically on the next day after the day renewal is due. If you decide to stop using the App during an active month, please be advised that no refunds for the remaining paid days are going to be given. By starting a Subscription to this App, you explicitly agree to this term.

Rights of use

All intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the content accessible (or available for download) on the App, including text, pictures, graphics, video and audio material (“Content”) belong solely to Martin Barthmann. All rights are hereby reserved. The App and the Content may only be used for your personal, professional use.

You are not allowed to resell, copy, reverse-engineer or alter the App in any way.


Save to the extent prohibited by law, the App owner does not give any warranties in respect of your Subscription, the Content or the App, including freedom from viruses or other contamination, or that the App is compatible with any computer systems, software and browsers.

The App owner shall not be liable for any claims, losses, injuries, penalties, damages, costs or expenses arising from the use of, or inability to use the App or Content or from any action taken, or omitted to be taken, as a result of using the App or Content, other than death or personal injury directly caused by the negligence of the App owner.

English Law

By taking a Subscription you agree that these Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. You also accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in relation to any dispute that may arise in connection with these Terms or your Subscription.
